Our biannual Regional Medical Mycology Training Network (MMTN) Conference 2018 was successfully held on November 15-18, 2018 in Taipei City. The meeting was the 6th in the series of regional MMTN conferences organized by the Asia Fungal Working Group (AFWG), an International Society for Human and Animal Mycology (ISHAM) working group.

The Regional MMTN Conference 2018 was held in partnership with the Taiwanese Dermatological Association with a strong focus on Asian perspectives and practical application through workshops, interactive cases and discussions led by an esteemed faculty from Asia and beyond.
